Went camping this weekend; and brought my board. It never ceases to amaze me, how much fun you can have with the most simple of locations. All I had was a blacktop driveway, 3 car widths wide by 2 car lengths long. I swept off all the leaves and sticks, and started rollin around. I found a 2x4 and some boxes, and set-up a hippy jump hurdle. Then I found a sheet of plywood, and laid it on a grassy hill near the edge of the blacktop. This made a perfect bank!!

I'm really falling in love with the idea of DIY skate spots, and using basic materials to set-up little mini "parks" anywhere you go. It's incredibly liberating; and it really pushes your creativity and ingenuity as a skater. The possibilities exist everywhere!!
